NYCIL AE 562 is a Styrene/Acrylic Copolymer emulsion, free from plasticizers and solvents. It is mainly developed for emulsion paints. It has high pigment binding capacity and its dry film coating has good resistance to water and alkali.


Suggested Applications

NYCIL AE 562 is generally suggested for all-purpose dispersion paints. It is suitable for glossy to flat, interior and exterior emulsion paints on various substrates including plaster, masonry, asbestos cement, concrete and wood. It is also an excellent binder for various types of textured finishes and surfaces.


Specifications

Viscosity at 25°C:   100 – 200 poise by Brookfield RVT viscometer spindle 5, rpm 20.
Appearance:   Milky white emulsion.
Average particle size:   0.1 to 0.15 micron.
Stabilizing system:   Anionic.
pH:   7.5 – 9.0.
Solid Content:   45.
Solvent:   Water.
