BC 2533 is an amine blocked di- nonylnaphthalene di-sulphonic acid solution in alcoholic solvents.


Suggested Applications

Curing of saturated polyester with HMMM resins.


Compatibility

HMMM resin:   Good.
Epoxy resin (E.E.W. 450 – 550):   Good.


Specifications

pH:   6.5 – 7.5.
Clarity:   Clear.
Colour (Gardner):   7 max.
Solid Content:   33 ± 2%  


Solubility

n-Butanol:   Good.
Isopropyl alcohol:   Good.
Ester, Ketone:   Good.


Curing Schedules

Suitable for stoving finishes with stoving schedules ranging from 160°C for 20 minutes to 280°C for 50 – 70 seconds.

Recommendations for use

To be used at 4 to 10% on mass of melamine formaldehyde resin solids.
